Learn how to create WhatsApp backups

How to manually save your chats

1. First, open the WhatsApp application.
2. Then tap the Menu button, which is the three dots in the upper right corner of the chats.
3. Locate Settings > Chats > Backup.
4. Now just click SAVE to start the backup process. This may take a few minutes.

How to create a backup on iOS

1. First, open the WhatsApp app.
2.  Tap on the Settings icon at the bottom.
3. Now locate the Chat Settings – Chat Copy option from the menu.
4. In the Automatic Backup section we can select the backup frequency: daily, weekly, monthly or disabled.
5. To perform your manual backup, tap the “Back up now” option.
