Engineer Blake Lemoine,<\/strong> who works for the giant of Google<\/strong>, was suspended after daring to make a lurid statement about a draft Artificial Intelligence (AI)<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n

In a statement, the tech giant<\/strong> said a few days ago that his team, which includes ethics experts and technologists<\/strong>, \u201creviewed Blake\u2019s concerns in accordance with our AI principles and informed him that the evidence does not support his claims.\u201d<\/strong>Lemoine is also suspended for violating the company's confidentiality policy.<\/p>\r\n

He also added that LaMDA has been put through 11 rigorous reviews and tests to verify the safety and quality of the data generated based on concrete facts.<\/strong>\u201cOf course, some in the broader AI community are exploring the long-term potential of conscious or general AI, but it doesn't make sense to do so by incorporating current, non-conscious conversational models,\u201d the company added.<\/p>\r\n
