DualSense: The new and technological controller of the Sony PS5

Sony brings us good news, and introduces the new for your PS5: The DualSense. This is undoubtedly the sensation in the world of gamers. Thanks to its new features that will allow us to experience video games in a more realistic way.

In the official pictures shared by Sony, you can notice a new model different from the previous DualShock 4. Featuring a dual-tone black and white finish design with light bars found on both sides of the central touchpad.

On the other hand, the previous “Share” button will now be called “Create” in order to allow users the ability to share with the world an individual way of experiencing the game.

Sony in turn has selected a more compact design without being so small, This gives them enough room to incorporate technological innovations. For this controller, it has also integrated a microphone with three-dimensional audio technology (Tempest) to facilitate communication between gamers without the need to use headphones, unless the user so desires.

And as if that wasn't enough, Sony also have added a rechargeable battery that is much longer lasting, to give us more hours of play.

DualSense for a more realistic gaming experience

In terms of operation, the new DualSense seeks to convey more sensations and thus to be able to ensure greater immersion for players.

That is why the new controller is equipped with haptics, which will allow us to experience the more realistic game feel. For example, being able to feel the difficulty of a car passing an obstacle.

As well as DualSense, we let you have different levels of tension and resistance provided by the L2 and R2 triggers so that players perceive the new controller as an extension of themselves.

Despite comparisons from users in terms of PS5 controller and Xbox 360 controllers. Playstation has decided that the DualSense keeps its ergonomic design and the features that users prefer from the previous DualShock 4.

However, it has integrated great improvements that promises to provide us with a better experience and a greater immersion in the game, through the perception of the sensations offered thanks to haptic technology in conjunction with the three-dimensional audio technology “Tempest”.
