This latest installment of one of the most beloved superheroes by fans, Spider-Man, introduced us to the MultiverseSomething fans have been waiting for for a long time. We warn you that if you continue reading, you'll find spoilers.
The longest wait of the year has come to an end. We saw a very good movie and, as Marvel always does, it left loose ends that can lead to different speculations about what might be to come.
The good thing about Spider-Man: No way home…
When we decide to watch a superhero movie, we already know we're going to find some great special effects. This one is no exception.
The wait for the release paid off; in its first weekend, the film's box office took third place all time. $253 million in North America and $334 million internationally, for a total of $587 million worldwide. The first two places are occupied by Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity WarAs of the date this article was written, the total raised is $1,082,231,855.
The performances of each of the characters were masterful, including all the villains that appear once opened. Multiverse under the spell of Doctor Strange. See Willem Defoe's Green Goblin, Jamie Foxx's Electro, Alfred Molina's Octopus, Rhys Ifans as the Lizard, and Thomas Haden Church as the Sandman. It was one of the best moments of the film.
Now, the highlight of the movie was seeing the three Spider-Men together. Yes, the one with Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland. A moment that every fan I wanted to watch and enjoy. Watching them fight against the common enemy was epic.
The not so good…
One of the things that caught my attention was that practically every scene had a joke. At times it seemed like we were watching a Disney sitcom. Even when Spider-Man and Doctor Strange They perform the spell that is transcendental in the film.
Another thing that caught my attention is that Spider-Man He doesn't want to return the villains to the dimension they belong to because they die there. So a fight begins between the arachnid superhero and Doctor Strange.
It is worth noting that in the episode from What If: Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands? Absolute events are mentioned and cannot be changed. But in the film they are not mentioned at any point. Although in the next installment of the Doctor Strange, Multiverse of Madness, a character from the animated series episode appears.
So Spider-Man's enemies were released, as they are returned to their universes, but it is unknown what will happen to them. Obviously this suits Marvel because it leaves a lot to be done for future installments.
