For some time now Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, has become an important influence in the world. In one of his latest appearances, during a 4-hour interview, he made several predictions that he believes will happen in the near future.
Aside from the anecdotes, he also mentioned some projects they're working on. It's worth noting that he loves to work, planning meetings in the early hours of the morning and getting very little sleep. He barely gets six hours a night.
However, he even gave dates to several of the predictions he made in the interview. So we'll have to save this information for later comparison. Regardless of whether they come true or not, it's highly likely he'll have something to do with these prophecies.
This is how we begin the count:
Elon Musk's predictions
1. Neuralink
He indicated that the neurotechnology company Neuralink, driven by him, specializing in the development of Brain-computer interfaces will allow for orgasms 100 times better than normal.. Although it will still be a long time before people voluntarily have a chip implanted in their brain, neural capacities could be greatly enhanced.
2. Climate Change
Like so many public figures, she also spoke out about the problem of pollution. She stated that if climate change is not taken seriously, it will be the end of the species.
He asked the following question “"How can you expect to change the composition of the atmosphere and nothing will happen?"”"That is why he urged people to become aware. He stated that if we do not use sustainable energy, civilization will disappear.".
He added that If we work to establish a sustainable economy, we will solve climate change.. Without being radical or going crazy. Just using our heads and being logical.
He also added that, in his opinion, China is the most environmentally progressive economy in the world. Initially, they didn't believe in global warming, until their own scientists sounded the alarm.
Chinese scientists observed the pollution in their major cities and made a complete about-face. They are now the country that invests the most in reducing CO2 through electric vehicles and renewable energy sources.
3. CO2 Tax
For Elon, “The Paris agreements are worthless if we don’t take real action.”. For this reason he It is inclined to suggest that there should be a price to pay for what is produced in CO2. This is how taxes are paid.
Therefore, he believes the tax should be levied at the point of consumption, as it is on alcohol or tobacco. Because if a price is put on carbon, the market will react, and it will likely do so positively. It should be a non-aggressive tax that takes into account those with limited resources.
4. A Madrid-Tokyo-Mars air bridge
Elon He predicted that by 2023 Starship would begin regular crewed flights. In this way, it would carry out orbital flights as if it were an air bridge between Madrid and Barcelona.
Although their new spacecraft has experienced two explosions during two high-altitude launches—SN8 at 12.5 kilometers and SN9 at 10 kilometers—he added that it's always expected that these spacecraft will explode while they are prototypes; what's strange is that they haven't failed.
It is worth noting that Musk states that making the prototype is easy, but mass-producing them to reach the Moon and Mars with these powerful spacecraft is difficult.
5. SpaceX will reach Mars
Musk referred to SpaceX. He said that in 5 years they would reach Mars.. Because hundreds of spacecraft would be needed to fly between Earth and the red planet. In addition to the bases and factories needed to produce electricity, fuel, oxygen, and food crops, both to sustain a population there and to be able to return to our planet.
6. Artificial Intelligence
He also referred to Artificial Intelligence. Elon Musk indicated that without public oversight it could become a major problem for humanity.. Therefore, he stated that all things that pose a potential danger to citizens must be monitored.
He used seat belts as an example. Manufacturers knew they could save lives, but to save costs they didn't install them in vehicles. The only exception was Volvo.
At Geekine, we wanted to highlight the prophecies that seemed most relevant to us from that 4-hour interview. Now, we'll have to wait and see if Elon Musk's predictions come true. Let us know, dear reader, do you agree with the Tesla CEO and his predictions?
