Content
  • And the famous scenes are
    • Batman (1989) and Michael Keaton's improvised line
    • Back to the Future (1985)
    • Deleted scene from Superman (1978)

In this article you will read about three scenes from some famous movies that have many fans. The first is from the beloved superhero, the Batman, the second in the movie Back to the Future, and the last Superman. So let's begin…

And the famous scenes are

Batman (1989) and Michael Keaton's improvised line

The first film of Batman in film came from director Tim Burton and starred Michael Keaton.

An extraordinary film with several famous scenes, but one in particular became unforgettable because we heard one of the most iconic lines in cinematic history. This line is: “I’m Batman,” and did you know it was improvised?. The scene in which the line is spoken is when Batman encounters some thieves in a dark alley. After one of the thieves asks him who he is, Batman responds with the famous line, "I'm Batman.".

Although The original script contained the phrase "I am darkness"“, Michael Keaton preferred to change it for the one mentioned above.

It's worth noting that the phrase has been used in several Batman films since then, including Christopher Nolan's trilogy. The phrase has become a symbol of Batman's secret identity and his role as protector of Gotham City.

Keaton's improvisation with the line "I'm Batman" is a perfect example of how a small detail can have a huge impact on a film.. The line has become one of the most iconic lines in film history and has helped define the character of Batman.

Back to the Future (1985)

The iconic film by Back to the Future, starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd and directed by Robert Zemeckis It left an indelible mark on our minds. Full of many famous and impactful scenes, but one in particular has become emblematic in the history of cinema.

However, what many don't know is that this scene is not the original one from the script and storyboards. This scene was modified due to budget adjustments..

This information was revealed by the well-known actor Jon Cryer. (The same one from Two and a Half Men) who auditioned for the role of Marty McFly. He shared the first version of the script, and it's very different from what we saw on screen.

In this first version, the time machine is not a DeLorean, but a refrigerator-shaped device powered by nuclear fission and a secret liquid, which was none other than the well-known cola-flavored fizzy drink.

Once in the past and needing to return to the future, McFly takes the refrigerator to an atomic bomb testing site to harness the power of the explosion. A scene very similar to the one in the film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

But the scene was changed for two reasons. On the one hand, many refrigerators manufactured in the 1980s had internal locks and could trap children inside. Concerned about the safety of infants and to prevent any child from imitating this scenario, they decided to do away with the refrigerator.

On the other hand, filming the scene at an atomic bomb testing site or recreating such a location plus the necessary special effects was very expensive and greatly increased the film's budget in terms of technology and resources.

In this way, the ending was changed to the one we all saw in the movie, In which McFly returns to the future after a lightning bolt strikes the Hill Valley clock tower, allowing the DeLorean's flux capacitor to charge and reach the speed required to disappear in that era and reappear in the original era.

One of the many scenes that made this Back to the Future movie a cultural phenomenon which led them to create the trilogy, video games, animated series, and comics.

Deleted scene from Superman (1978)

Another film that revolutionized the way we saw the superheroes And with many famous scenes, it's the hit movie of Superman starring Christopher Reeve. The actor gave us a masterful performance, so much so that For many fans, that actor is Superman; there is no other..

This film has several famous scenes, but one of them was never released and it happens before Superman enters Lex Luthor's chamber, the one located in the city's underground.

The reason for his elimination is open to speculation, but it's certain that the superhero's archenemy already knew his weaknesses. Therefore, preparing such a welcome for him—with a barrage of gunfire, flamethrowers, and an attempt to freeze him—knowing that nothing would happen to the Man of Steel, would be a waste of time..

Although the scene was well-crafted for its time, it was shelved and replaced with the final version we saw. And for many, the film turned out better that way. Did you know these famous scenes had been altered? Do you remember other unforgettable scenes from your favorite movies?
