D23 Expo 2019: Disney and all its premieres

Disney has filled us geeks with good news. at its annual event D23 2019. These are not only for the current year but until 2022. A promising and long season of original films and series is coming from the greats of Pixar, LucasFilm, Natgeo, Marvel and of course Disney+.

The D23 Expo is biennial and held by The Official Disney Fan Club since 2009. Thus, its name comes from the letter D for Disney and the number 23 for 1923, which was the year Walt Disney founded the company.

For this release they not only thrilled us with their trailers and announcements, but they also gave us our beloved Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr. the Legends AwardsAnd with this they made our geek hearts happy.

New Trailers

Let's start with the appetizers that Disney served us at D23:

The Mandalorian A long-awaited spinoff of the iconic Star Wars film. This time, it tells the story of a gunslinger working in the Outer Rim territories of the galaxy. It will premiere on Disney+ on November 12.

Lady and the Tramp, a live-action remake that has thrilled millennials everywhere. This new film will only be available on the Disney+ streaming platform.

Natgeo brings us The World According to Jeff Goldblum, where the Jurassic Park actor shows us his vision of the world in a documentary style.

Another important point of D23 was the first samples of what they are preparing. One that caught a lot of attention wasand Emma Stone as the villain Cruella Devil. On the other hand, Disney took the opportunity to present Raya and the Last Dragon as its new Asian princess.

The new Marvel

Since the actor will be giving life to a character in the new animated film Onward. But we will also be able to see him play Milo in the live action of Atlantis.
